As an organization committed to promoting health for all, and particularly for those most socially excluded by healthcare systems, Dünya Doktorları advocates for non-discriminatory healthcare and fights against inequalities. We actively promote and implement actions for gender equality, both in our fieldwork and through our internal policies.
GENDER AT THE HEART OF OUR HEALTHCARE ACTIONS
Dünya Doktorları integrates a gender-sensitive approach throughout the entire project cycle in a transversal manner. This ensures that our actions are adapted to address the gender-specific needs of the people we work with while challenging and transforming the gender inequalities that impact health and the realization of the right to health.
To achieve this, we employ a wide range of strategies related to the gender approach, complemented by additional actions and methods.
