HOPE ARISES IN NEW SYRIA: STORY OF FATIMA

In Salqin, northwest Syria’s Idlib, Fatima, a displaced mother of six from Aleppo, faces each day with courage. Her son Mohammed battles multiple health conditions and trauma, while her daughter lives with epilepsy and needs daily medication.

At the Salqin Health Center operated by Dünya Doktorları (DDD – Doctors of the World), both children now receive free medical care, medication, and psychological support that have transformed their lives.

The health center is our lifeline. Without it, we would have nowhere to turn.

Through the efforts of DDD, Fatima’s family has found hope and dignity amid hardship, proving that access to healthcare can restore more than health; it can restore life itself.
